The screen diva ventured into several career paths in the world of entertainment but became famous as a Nollywood actress. To start with, she wanted to go into business management after her studies. However, while awaiting her results, she began modeling to make a living.
Omotola Jalade's journey to acting all started when she accompanied a friend to a movie audition. The friend didn't get the role and Omotola was asked by the movie director Reginald Ebere to audition for the role too.

And that was how she got the role. This was her first role in a movie and it was titled "Venom of Justice" produced in 1995. The movie launched Omotola into acting as she was given a lead role, which set the pace for a flourishing career in the movie industry.
