The statement titled ‘Public notice/security information’ concerning the theft of the car was released last Sunday by Alli Ibraheem, the Chief Press Secretary to the Oluwo. It said the Hilux van was stolen overnight from where it was parked. This news didn’t come much of a surprise considering the series of car thefts that took place this year. Just recently, a gospel music minister took to social media to call for help after a roadside mechanic ran off with a car belonging to a customer in Imo State.
Ibraheem revealed that the name of the Oluwo was engraved on the van as at the time it was stolen. He further implored the entire public to call some certain designated phone number in case they have information concerning the whereabouts of the vehicle.
