Chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Lagos State Chapter, Musiliu Akinsanya, alias MC Oluomo, gifted some staff of the union five sleek Sports Utility Vehicles (SUVs) estimated to cost over ₦20 million, for their hard work, dedication and support over the years. The car gifts were presented to the deserving workers at the union’s secretariat in Lagos during an event organized to mark the Chairman’s 100 days in office.

MC Uluomo was full of praises for his workers as he handed them their presents. He expressed his appreciation to them for having faith in him right from when he was appointed as Treasurer of the union.

Speaking further, the Chairman assured members of the union of his commitment to take the union onto greater heights. He acknowledged that achieving this feat would only be possible with their continuous hard work, faith, and support for union activities. He also advised members of the NURTW who are drivers to always obey traffic laws and desist from driving under the influence of alcohol. In the same vein, he urged them to stay away from lanes designated to the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT).
