Several photos and reports online claim that the NRC has now suspended the Abuja-Kaduna train service after a recent brutal attack by unknown gunmen.

According to various press reports, the NRC (Nigeria Railway Corporation) has now stopped operations of all train services along the Abuja-Kaduna route. As of the time of writing this report, the Managing Director of NRC says that vandals should be blamed for this train incident. However, Senator Shehu Sani has taken to his social media page to explain that bandits bombed the train tracks. He further claimed that he was on board another train travelling on the Abuja-Kaduna route recently when they encountered the bombed rail tracks that almost caused a crash for their train.
