The popular Marlian movement has reportedly taken over all strands of the society especially among the raging youths. The movement originated from the controversial Nigerian music artiste, Naira Marley, whose real name is Azeez Fashola. The popular artiste has been responsible for the ideology, which has been adopted by his radical and loyal followers within and beyond. While some are taking the positive out of the whole philosophy, many are going extreme, causing different kinds of social menace.
The side mirrors and other valuables items were stolen from the car by the anonymous person who claims to be a Marlian
From a new report reaching us, an anonymous Nigerian that calls him/herself a member of this Marlian movement reportedly left a note for the owner of the car after causing havoc on it. According to what we gathered from the note dropped, the unknown Marlian carted away with two side mirrors of the vehicle, a mobile phone and a sum of ₦3,500.

The note reads:
“I am not a thief and neither am I hungry, I only took those items to teach you a lesson. Always make sure your doors are properly closed and locked before you leave your car”.

Surprisingly, several Nigerian celebrities have identified themselves with this growing Marlian group. Some of them that endorsed the movement include public figures such as Toke Makinwa, Kemi Olunloyo, DJ Cuppy, Zlatan Ibile, Wizkid, Davido and even Joe Abah, the former DG of the Bureau of Public Service Reform., and several others.

Who Is A Marlian
The veteran Nigerian actor Richard Mofe Damijo popularly known as RMD publicly showed his support for the movement via his Instagram account, where he said:
“This is no joke my whole household of holidaymakers are all calling themselves Marlians. Question is… does posting this picture make me a Marlian?”
