How can one woman beat all security operatives at the airport, down to the airplane's foot without documents? Find out how this Nigerian woman did it!

A Nigerian woman who had no travel documents beat security operatives all the way down to the foot of a US-bound Delta Airlines flight before she was caught at the Murtala Mohammed Airport, Lagos.

According to reports, the unidentified woman successfully passed the various checks undetected by officials of the Nigeria Immigration Service and Aviation Security of Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria at designated areas.

Recounting the incident, an eyewitness stated that the woman was without a traveling passport, visa and boarding pass.

Analyzing the incident, a security expert said that there are three security checks at the airport monitored by the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), aviation security personnel of the Federal Airports Authorities (FAAN), Nigeria Customs Service, State Security Service (SSS) and the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).

According to him, the first security check is mounted by AVSEC officers who check passport data page and boarding pass of passengers to ensure that they belong to the passenger using them.

“The second check is manned by personnel of SSS and the Immigration service. They are to check if the traveler has a valid visa to the country they are traveling, and also profile the passenger.

The final stage is the central search. Their major duty is to conduct body check on passengers and bags. Here, the Customs and NDLEA also supervise to check if the traveler has any embargo on him or in his luggage."

The woman almost succeeded in sneaking into the Delta flight to US

In the opinion of the security expert, it is almost impossible for a passenger to pass through the three security checks undetected without being aided by security personnel.

Confirming the incident, a staff of Delta Airlines claimed that it was not a security threat because the imposter was eventually nabbed.

The said woman was confirmed to Tango City – a temporary detention area for unruly people before they are handed over to the Police.
