There is hardly anyone in Nigeria that doesn’t get affected at one point or the other by the generally deplorable condition of the major roads in the country. While many might argue that the rich and opulent individuals in the country often stay in locations with “good roads”, it is still clear that they sometimes get affected by the bad roads. Yes, a typical example of such times is captured by a recent viral photo that shows a Nigerian Senator riding a commercial motorcycle (Okada) to his daughter’s wedding venue. Media sources claim that the Senator had to come down from his beautiful SUV to take an Okada because his car was already stuck in a traffic jam caused by bad roads in the area.

As soon as the above photo surfaced online, it became the latest topic of discussion among many Nigerian youths on social media and some other platforms. The attention being given to the photo geared some media sources to do more findings on the background story that led to such an “unexpected” sight. A report by one of the reputable media sources identified the man in the photo as Senator Abba Morro who is currently representing Benue South Senatorial District. Media reports also revealed that passersby said Senator Morro jumped out of his SUV and literally told a commercial motorcyclist (Okada rider) to take him to his daughter’s wedding venue because he is getting late.

While the photo of Senator Morro riding an Okada is still the “talk of the town”, many Nigerians have not yet gotten over a recent viral video that shows the moment an Adamawa politician was caught assaulting an auto mechanic.
