Over the years, it has been observed in Nigeria that women are mostly underrated and viewed from the perspective of being too “weak”. Luckily, in recent times, many young and old Nigerian women have proved that such stereotypic notion should be discarded. One of such women is Fehintoluwa Okegbenle, a brave Nigerian female biker, who recently travelled from Lagos state to Benin city riding her motorcycle. Unbelievable, isn’t it?
Exceptional Nigerian female biker travelled to Benin City from Lagos by riding her motorbike
Fehintoluwa Okegbenle took everyone by surprise on Saturday 21st of November 2020 when she uploaded photos to show that she literally rode a motorcycle from Lagos State to Benin City. She also added a text caption in which she revealed more details about this adventurous milestone that she recently achieved. The young lady disclosed that she completed her journey between Lagos State and Benin City within 6 hours (to & fro).
How many Nigerian ladies can ride a motorbike to Benin City from Lagos state twice within 6 hours like Fehintoluwa Okegbenle?
Going by Fehintoluwa Okegbenle’s tweet, she decided not to tell anyone before she began her Lagos to Benin bike trip because she knew a lot of people would discourage her from doing so. The brave young lady literally said that she just took her bike and began the amazing journey which luckily ended well and earned her more respect from many Nigerians on social media. It shouldn’t also be forgotten that Fehintoluwa Okegbenle is actually the same lady who went viral some months ago for completing a Lagos to Abuja bike trip in 13 hours.
For those who are not yet familiar with the currently emerging motorcycle culture among Nigerian youths, we recommend you watch the below video to “catch up”.
