Following recent reports of gunmen attacking travellers plying the Kaduna-Abuja road, the Nigerian special police force has swung into action and come out with a good result. Yes, fresh reports claim that the Nigeria Police recently arrested 32 suspects terrorizing Kaduna-Abuja motorists. These miscreants were also said to be involved in trans-border car theft and many other heinous crimes.

CP Frank Mba, the public relations officer of the Nigerian police revealed that the 32 suspects were apprehended on Tuesday 30th of November 2021 at different locations. Six of the suspects were said to be notorious car thieves that usually operate in Zamfara, Kebbi, Abuja, Nasarawa and Port Harcourt areas. They steal cars from these Nigerian cities and smuggle them to a certain Alhaji in the Niger Republic who buys the cars from them at giveaway prices.

Six of the 32 arrested suspects are said to be car thieves operating in Zamfara, Kebbi, Abuja, Nasarawa and Port Harcourt areas
The police report also confirmed that one of the recently arrested suspects actually supplies arms to two well-known Bandit kingpins in Kaduna State. Similarly, one of the arrested suspects was said to be among the miscreants that recently attacked travellers on the Kaduna-Abuja highway at the Tafa axis. Also, a notorious kidnap syndicate comprising six young men were also among the 32 suspects arrested by the police team.
