Female celebrities are known for their luxurious lifestyles which they're always showing off on social media platforms. With the year 2020 and the COVID-19 pandemic which brought lives and businesses to a standstill in the country and globally, some Nigerian female celebrities still got to purchase new cars. You might say they weren't the hardest hit by the dwindling economy. Sure, we know you would like to know these celebrities.

1. Linda Osifo - Mercedes-Benz GLE 450

Linda Osifo is a popular Nollywood actress and TV host. In February 2020, she acquired a red Mercedes Benz GLE 450 coupe worth ₦25 million. The screen diva's acquisition was a fulfillment of her desire to get a car for herself in 2020.

The beautiful actress spent her childhood and teen years in Toronto Ontario Canada and came back to Nigeria to pursue a career in acting.

2. Dabota Lawson - Lexus LX 570

Ex-beauty queen Dabota Lawson made the headlines in February when she posted some photos of herself on Instagram taking delivery of an exotic Lexus LX 570 car. Sources said the luxurious car is worth ₦33 million and powered by a 5.7-L V8 engine which delivers 383hp and 403 lb-ft of torque.

Dabota won Miss Nigeria at a UK beauty pageant held in 2009. She's a mother of one, a model, and also an entrepreneur.

3. Uche Nancy - Lexus RX 350

Nollywood film producer Uche Nancy bought a black Lexus RX 350 SUV to celebrate her birthday on 3 March 2020. She joined other actresses who always make car statement on their birthdays to add more spice to her special day.

Uche has been in the film industry for 12 years. She started out as a costumier before going into movie production.

The Lexus RX 350 is a luxury 2-row mid-size SUV that offers refinement and high-end features. It seats five persons and runs on a 3.5-L V6 engine that produces 270hp. Upcoming Nollywood actress, Mimi Orjiekwe acquired a Lexus LX 570. She took to her Instagram page to share photos of herself posing with her new ride on 12 July.

The luxury crossover is believed to be a third-generation model that runs on a 5.7-L V8 engine and puts out 383 hp and a torque of 403 lb-ft.

5. Gift Mbanaso - Lexus RX 350

Nigerian actress, Gift Mbanaso bought for herself a Lexus RX 350 to celebrate her birthday which was on 24 February. Though the car came after her birthday, she shared the picture of the car on social media with the caption," Belated birthday gift, better late than never. Congratulations to me. Hard work pays."

Her new ride, the Lexus RX 350 is the Brand's most reliable model amongst Nigerian car shoppers. The model is powered by a 3.5- L V8 engine. The price is from ₦5 million upwards.

6. Mercy Aigbe - Mercedes-Benz GLA 250

Talented Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe bought an exotic Mercedes-Benz GLA 250 car in May. She told her fans via her Instagram page that the car was bought after much persuasion.

Her latest ride is a sub-compact SUV that accommodates five persons and it's worth ₦12 million. The GLA 250 runs on a turbocharged 2.0-L 4-cylinder engine mated to a 5-speed dual-clutch transmission.

7. Biodun Okeowo - Mercedes-Benz GLK

Biodun Okeowo is a Nollywood Yoruba actress popularly known as Omobutty. She gifted herself a Mercedes-Benz GLK ahead of Valentine's day in February. The curvy actress who came into the movie scene in 2006 has maintained a low profile as she has remained focused on her children, career, and business.

The GLK is a mid-size SUV that came with a 3.5-L V6 engine. The Nigerian used one is being sold for ₦8 million.

8. LizzyGold Onuwaye - Toyota Venza

Budding Nollywood actress, LizzyGold acquired a Toyota Venza for herself in January. The actress made her debut in movies in 2006 and has gone ahead to stare in several Nollywood movies.

Automaker Toyota ended the production of the Venza model for the US market in June 2015 and September 2017 for other auto markets. The reason was due to customers' preference, market competitiveness, and low sales which weren't enough to encourage continued production.

9. Mercy Eke - Range Rover Autobiography

In February, BBNaija 2019 "Pepper Dem" winner Mercy Eke showed off a brand-new Range River Autobiography on her social media page. The luxurious SUV was said to be worth a whopping 124 million.

Since her shot into the limelight, Mercy aka Lambo has continued living her best life. She started her own real estate business called Lambo Homes in May. The 27-year-old celebrity has started building her own car collection as she also bought a new Mercedes-Benz GLE in November 2019.

10. Tonto Dikeh - Mercedes-Benz C300

Controversial actress Tonto Dikeh, celebrated her birthday on 9th June. She took to her Instagram page to reveal a Mercedes-Benz C300 which was presented to her as a birthday gift from her friend, Lisa Ogunrobo of the Pretiwomannn brand. According to Tonto, it was the second car she's received on her birthday.

Last year December, Tontolet dazzled her fans on Instagram after posting a video of the Bentley Continental GT she bought for herself. She captioned it, “From me to me".

This has brought the number of cars she has to six.

11. Uche Elendu - Lexus SUV

Nollywood actress Uche Elendu took delivery of a Lexus SUV in June. The 33-year-old actress and businesswoman shared the news with her followers on Instagram.

Elendu went into the movie industry in 2001. She took a long break in 2010 due to marriage and came back to the movie scene in 2015, with a lead role in the popular movie "Ada Mbano."
