Yes, fresh reports claim that Niger police recently apprehended two suspects for supplying bandits with petrol fuel in Minna. Can you just imagine such “wickedness” if this is true?

According to media reports, the police in Niger State arrested a certain 51-years-old Umar Mohammed for allegedly being a prime suspect in the case of supplying fuel to bandits within the state. Similarly, another 35-years-old Adamu Atiku was also arrested as an accomplice in the same criminal case as he is said to be the filling station attendant selling fuel to Umar Mohammed.
The Niger police spokesperson, DSP Wasiu Abiodun confirmed the details of this report in his recent public statement issued on Friday, 8th of October 2021. He revealed that the suspects were arrested following a tip-off the police received on Sunday, October 3 at about 10:15 am. The tip-off is said to have detailed that some suspicious male adults were spotted buying petrol fuel inside a few 25-litres jerrycans at the popular Muhabbat filling station in Tudun-Fulani, Minna. Upon the arrest of the two suspects, the Niger police reportedly recovered ten jerrycans from them and a certain tricycle fitted with the plate number RJA 444 WZ. This tricycle is believed to be a mobility means used by the suspects for conveying the fuel to bandits.
