In case you missed it; Apple recently held its yearly World Wide Developers Conference in California where it made various major announcements that have to do with most of its products currently offered to consumers.
Apart from a debut of the new 6K clear display and an impressive Dark Mode iOS 13 first look, Apple also announced the updates to Maps and CarPlay programs which have gone through a tremendous redesign.
Since Apple’s smartphone groundbreaking integration that debuted in the year 2014, this is still, for now, the biggest overhaul that Apple CarPlay has gotten so far.

Part of this iOS 13 updates includes a newer “Dashboard” view mode which allows the current user to actually see visibly various functions/apps all simultaneously. For instance, it now allows maps, music, and other alerts to be shown in one organized screen. Also, the music app now carries redesigns that help emphasize the song’s album arts.
Also, to further enhance the overall viewing experience, Siri can now be easily overlaid atop other applications instead of the usually prompting Siri dedicated screen. Apple also included a new calendar together with Siri integration now available for 3rd-party navigation as well as audio apps too.

Apple claims that its CarPlay is currently 90% of sold with new vehicles in the USA, but we do not really have any official means of confirming this fact yet.
