The General Manager (GM) of National Theatre Lagos, Dr. Stella Oyedepo has been reported dead.
She died in a car crash during the late hours of Easter Monday, while going back to Lagos from Ilorin. She has gone there for an official assignment.
Reports reaching Naijauto.com has it that her car crashed into a heavy equipment vehicle at Sagamu, on Benin, Ijebu-Ode expressway.

The National Theater Director in charge of Business Development, Mr. Abiodun Abe, confirmed the incident to News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) via a telephone interview on Tuesday.
Mr. Abiodun also said himself, the NT Public Relations Officer, Mr. Steve Ogundele, together with some management staff were conveying Stella Oyedepo's corpse to her home town, in Ilorin. Also, and a press statement will be issued by the management on her funeral details.
Reports say the deceased took up the appointment as the General Manager of National Theatre in April 2018.

She had begun to transform the National Theatre to its pride of place within the last one year of her leadership.She was indeed doing a good job without making noise.
The toilets and the air conditioners at the National Theatre’s halls have begun to function well. All these were to her credit.
She was a very humble and a hard working administrator who used to listen to people’s advice on how to move the NT forward. It pains me that we have lost such a great woman. May she rest in peace
One of NAN's correspondent who went over to the National Theatre noticed that the place was quiet and devoid of activities owing to the tragic incident that happened.
Some business operators who gathered in groups were seen wearing a somber mood while discussing the incident in low tones.
