The Nigerian police need to be commended for their recent clampdown on car snatchers, Keke thieves, fake automobile dealers and traffic robbers all over the country. A new report reaching us has confirmed that Nasarawa police recently arrested some motorcycle thieves disguised as policemen. Several incriminating items and even a Blue-coloured Peugeot 406 car was recovered from these notorious thieves.

Media reports have it that these alleged criminals usually parade themselves as police officers while committing heinous crimes under disguise. DSP Ramhan Nansel, the spokesperson of the Nasarawa police command has confirmed the arrest of these suspected motorcycle thieves. He gave more information on their case via a public statement issued on Monday, 4th of July 2022. In the statement, DSP Ramhan Nansel revealed that the arrested suspects have actually confessed to snatching more than 30 different motorcycles. They also disclosed that the majority of their victims are actually commercial motorcycle operators.

Fake police ID cards and motorcycle receipts were recovered from suspected thieves arrested in Nasarawa
Nasarawa police spokesperson revealed the names of the notorious motorcycle thieves recently arrested by the command. He also disclosed that the suspects were known for operating around AYA junction (FCT) Abuja as well as Keffi in Nasarawa State. Below are the names of the suspected motorcycle thieves as written in press reports.
