The video below is about a £200,000 (around N102m) Ferrari 458 Spider crushed after being seized by West Midlands Police.
The owner of the supercar is Zahid Khan, a 31-year-old businessman. The police detained him because they suspected that the car was previously stolen.

However, Zahid claimed he legally bought it at an auction with the help of a middleman and had spent lots of money and time on it.
On the other hand, West Midlands Police claim that because the Ferrari owner couldn't show valid insurance and the car was listed as Category B vehicle - one of the category classed as unroadworthy, the car must be destroyed.

The millionaire later came to the court with the paperwork to prove his rights on the car but it was too late to retrieve his car when it was already crushed.

The incident happened on April 5th last year but it’s nearly a full year later the footage was released.
The question is whether it can happen here in Nigeria? Will our government dare to do the same? A penny for your thoughts!
