Tragedy struck during the weekend when Motjeka Madisha, who was a defender for South African national team and Mamelodi Sundowns, lost his life in a road crash despite crawling out of the burning car wreckage. This information was disclosed to the public recently by one of the club officials.

From what we learnt, the 25-year-old football player was one of the two people in the car, which went out of control and ended up bursting into flames after crashing into an advertising board in eastern Johannesburg.

According to the official, who pleaded anonymity, revealed that briefly after the accident, the body of Madisha was found by someone who arrived at the scene, burnt beyond recognition. The victim was confirmed dead at the scene of the accident by medical personnel on the ground.

This shocking news of the death of Madisha came barely a month when Anele Ngcongca, who was also a South African and Mamelodi Sundown player, died in a one-car horrific car accident, close to the eastern city of Durban.
Madisha reportedly was an established first-choice defender for the Mamelodi Sundowns, the current defending champions of the South African senior football league. He was also capped thirteen times by the South African’s Bafana Bafana.
