The test was carried out at West Palm Beach, Florida on the Johnny Bohmer Proving Ground for this most recent test for speed. The last time McLaren product was put to a test on this amazing round, it was discovered that the speed of 720S was greatly undermined by McLaren as the car was faster. Who knew McLaren 650S could be this fast? Though not as fast as the more recent 720S
McLaren 650S, the precursor to 720S, is based on an epic MP4-12C. It makes use of similar aluminum subframe, carbon fiber monocoque chassis, evolved version of twin-turbocharged 3.8-iter V8 engine and seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.

2015 McLaren 650S Spider (Top Speed Test)
It comes with a generative power of 641 horsepower and 500 pound feet of torque, accelerating from a standstill of zero to 60mph in an amazing 2.9 seconds. With this, it offers a top speed of 204mph. we however believe we could still theoretically reach top speed of 207 with the regular coupe since the Spider version with folding hard top could give us 204 mph.
