It is indeed good to be friends with Floyd Mayweather considering his latest gesture to his buddies recently. According to reports, the former American boxer, who just came out of retirement to fight YouTube phenomenon Paul Logan, just splurged a whopping $1 million on ten cars for himself and his crew.
The American-born fighter acquired these cars from Towbin Auto Group in Las Vegas, a company owned by Chop. These luxury cars include 3 2021 Dodge Challenger, 2 2021 Dodge Chargers, 1 Dodge Journey, 1 2021 Mercedes S560, and 1 2021 Mercedes-Maybach. He also bought two Rolls-Royces for himself, one of which is reported to be the latest Rolls-Royce Ghost.
The fighting match between Mayweather and YouTube sensation Logan Paul ended in a draw
According to Chop, Mayweather Jr. has been a regular customer at his dealership. The Michigan native had already purchased 157 vehicles from Towbin, including 29 Rolls-Royce models since his patronage over the years.
Mayweather has a reputation for a lavish lifestyle. The ten cars he acquired recently were enough to shoot an action thrilling movie. There is a possibility that you are a bit concerned that the former boxing champion might go broke anytime soon. Well, to clear your doubt, the 44-year-old got an upfront payment of $10 million ahead of his fight with Logan Paul on Sunday.
The $1 million spent on these 10 cars is just a fragment of the amount he is expected to make from the last fight
That amount is nothing compared to what he will get eventually since it was pay-per-view revenue from Showtime. Mayweather is expected to cash out 50% of the entire income. By implication, he is expected to make as much as $100 million. So, the boxing legend has nothing to worry about financially. He could decide to add one specific toy to his garage, which is the super rare Rolls-Royce Boat Tail.
