The Aurus was built thanks to an attempt of the partnership between Porsche, Bosch, and Russia’s Central Scientific Research Automobile & Engine Institute (NAMI).

The Senat gets power from a 4.4L V8 hybrid powertrain which cranks out 598 HP alongside an electric motor that provides 40 HP. It uses a Russian-made 9-speed automatic gearbox.

There’s another version to come in the near future as well and this 6.6L V-12 version can be responsible for a potent power of 800 HP. Customer’s fancy will be tickled by its interior that features a lot borrowed from Rolls-Royce and Bentley vehicles.

Along with the top-notch features above, the Aurus is home to some state-of-the-art technology that is hard to search for in any other vehicle such as the ability to submerge itself in water and the Kevlar tires secure the drives even when the tires are shot and punctured.

It is expected that there will be a total of 10,000 units to be rolled out until 2021 but the first its manufacturers just play it safe to release 150 vehicles each year for the next 2 years.

For those who miss it, the original version of Putin’s presidential limousine "startled” the Abu Dhabi Crown Price by admiration.
