From fresh reports, a man was recently found in a car truck and the woman who appeared to be behind the wheel was later apprehended by the police after crashing into an ambulance in Tameside.

The shocking incident took place at around 1 am at the junction of Wharf Street and King Street in Dukinfield. It was reported that the vehicle had a head-on collision with the ambulance, which at the time was carrying two paramedics.
The local police revealed that the crew members inside the ambulance did not suffer any injuries from the crash, but the ambulance was seriously damaged. It was also stated that four people were inside the car. One was found in the boot with severe leg injuries. A 33-year-old woman was taken into custody for driving while being drunk and other driving-related offences.

Man charged after deadly ambulance crash
The remaining two occupants of the car fled the scene after the horrific crash. The scene of the accident was closed from public use with several emergency services present to manage the situation. However, the road has been reopened by the police for people to access.
According to further reports, the two people that sustained injuries in the other vehicle were taken to the hospital for treatment. The suspected woman and three men made off from the car on foot following the incident. One of the victims was helped by the firefighters who were able to extricate him from the car using specialist equipment before transferring him to the hospital.
