A very "scary" tragedy was narrowly averted when a man ploughed a stolen car through a living room with people inside in Anfield, England (U.K). According to reports, emergency services responded quickly to this horrifying incident that occurred at Attwood Street, Anfield around 7 pm on Thursday the 16th of September, 2021. Many of the international news outlets simply described the incident by claiming that a suspected driver "deliberately" crashed a stolen car into someone's living room in the U.K.

Upon arrival, the emergency services found a black Audi A5 already ploughed into the terrace house on the road. The police revealed that the vehicle was stolen in a burglary last Wednesday on the 8th of September, 2021 and the house where it was stolen from was targeted.

From further reports, a man wearing dark clothing and a baseball cap was spotted exiting the car and running off to Blessington road. While no casualties were recorded from this shocking incident, there were people in the house when the crash occurred, according to the Merseyside Fire and Rescue, also in attendance.
It appears the fire service is looking into damages caused on the property extensively and are working to make it safe for both the residents and people around. They have also requested the service of a structural engineer to take a look at the structure. Chief Inspector Steve Hardy believes that the car was deliberately driven into the house with people inside. He however urged anyone with credible information that will help the investigation to come forward with video or any evidence.
