Looks like there is a stiff competition between China and Japan when it comes to monster speedy trains. Click here to see this amazing china-owned super-fast " floating" maglev!

China Railway Rolling Stock Corporation (CRRC) is a state owned company and has recently introduced a new high-speed Magnetic-levitation prototype train with the capacity of conveying passengers at 600km/hr (373 mph) speed.

By 2021, the super-tech floating bullet train is expected to go fully into production commercially.

With full passenger-capacity, this magnetic-levitation super fast train is capable of reaching 600km/hr speed

Ding Sansan, head of the train research and development team and also the deputy chief engineer at CRRC, said:

Take Beijing to Shanghai as an example — counting preparation time for the journey, it takes about 4.5 hours by Plane, about 5.5 hours by High-speed rail, and would only take about 3.5 hours with the new high-speed Maglev.

By floating in a magnetically-powered air cushion rather than using constant contact wheel with the track, the new train would be able to reach this unbelievable speed. This would cause friction reduction and ensure that the craft reaches remarkably fast speeds.

It is not all about speed on this train but comfort and stylishly designed cabin

The country, China, are already in possession of the fastest commercial maglev service operation in the world, with the ability to achieve 431 km/hr (267 mph) on its 30 km (18.6 miles) trip between the city center and airport in Shanghai.

In 2015, a new world record feat of 603 km/hr (375 miles) was achieved by the Japanese Railway Maglev train during a test in Yamanashi on an experimental track in the same year.

Currently, the Asian country is on course in creating a 505 km/hr Maglev rail line between Nagoya and Tokyo. We are expecting it to be open by year 2027.
