The video is believed to have been recorded last Tuesday, showing the Lyft driver pulling the lady out of the car. He throws her to the grown, together with her belongings. As she tries to find her way back into the vehicle, the visibly aggressive driver starts to hit her.

Angered by such a cruel act by the driver, other drivers plying the road jump out of their cars, and begin to give him a dose of his own medicine. As the drivers pounce on the assaulter, the lady is accidentally shoved, and she falls to the ground. A man quickly helps her up, while the other drivers carry on beating up her attacker.

The female passenger was later identified as Alessandra Starr Ward, an actress. Narrating what transpired, she stated that trouble began while she was playing a song titled “Te Bote” on her Smartphone. The driver did not like the song, and demanded that she stopped playing it. But she was adamant. He made a threat about kicking her out his car, and she dared him that she would report to the police.
