This decision has so far sparked condemnations from FIFA, UEFA, FA, and Premier League executives, as well as many football fans around the world as severe sanctions, are being threatened against any player who participates in the Superleague. Despite all of this hullabaloo, the management of Liverpool FC has insisted on being part of the league; hence, the outrage by some of its fans that recently protested by trying to stop the team bus ahead of a match.
