We all know that Bugatti brand resonates with luxury, and only few people on earth can afford to acquire any of their products. This is obviously not only their cars but other exquisite items as well. From report, the luxury marque has collaborated with a famous watchmaker Jacob & Co. to create a new Chiron Tourbillon watch, which is a limited version of the company’s exclusive timepiece.
The partnership between Bugatti and luxury watchmaker brought these magnificent timepieces into reality
The design of this luxury watch is inspired by the Bugatti Chiron hypercar, hereby making many parts on the timepiece look just like a real-life car. One of the notable examples is the presence of functioning pistons and crankshaft in the design of the watch. This looks so much like the Bugatti’s iconic 16-cylinder powertrain.
There is a pair of turbochargers flanking the mechanism, spinning with the motion of the engine. The entire engine of the timepiece is joined by four Chiron-inspired shock absorbers, meaning it is really floating within the case and can also be spotted slightly moving upwards and downwards when it is active.

Aside from the detailing on the watch that looks like that of a car, it also offers an incredible 578-piece movement that combines watch and car design, powered by a 30-degree inclined flying tourbillon movement.
Interested buyers can choose from the available 4 new limited editions of these luxury Chiron Tourbillon watches. We learnt that there is one of these watches that has an alternately-coloured variant, while others offer colours such as Rose Gold, Rose Gold with diamonds, White Gold and Sapphire Crystal.
The outlook of the Tourbillon watch draws its inspiration from the design of the Bugatti Chiron hypercar
The automaker will only make 72 units of this Rose Gold, with an 18-Karat rose gold and an 18-Karat rose gold open case back. Only 52 units of the diamond-encrusted type will be produced with white baguette diamonds. The two feature black rubber strap with an 18-Karat and black DLC titanium rose gold buckle clasp on the regular one while the type encrusted with a diamond will feature 18-karat gold buckle clasp with white diamonds.
The White Gold timepiece will offer an 18-karat white gold coupled with an 18-Karat white gold open case back. It will also sport 391 individual white and black diamonds. The rubber strap on this particular watch features an 18-Karat white gold buckle clasp, decorated with eighteen white diamonds.
Customers can choose from the available colour options, each expected to cost at least $280k
The last piece, which is the Sapphire Crystal, created from the solid block of sapphire, with its sapphire crystal case back. This is also similar to the timepiece with the alternately coloured variant. The only difference is the colour which is blue on the latter, instead of silver. The two will offer a rubber strap protected by a titanium buckle clasp.
Although the company is yet to reveal the price of these limited Chiron Tourbillon watches, the regular Tourbillon watch from the same automaker goes for a whopping $280,000 (₦106.7 million). We expect the new ones to be within the range or go a bit higher than the regular version.
