Aye Bus Stop inward Iyana Isolo would have witnessed disaster if not for LASEMA officials that responded swiftly when a trailer and tanker recently fell in the middle of the busy road at night. Reports claim that the 40ft container attached to the trailer fell on the busy road after the truck driver recklessly got the vehicle into a deep pothole. Sources claim that the crashed truck and its detached container literally blocked the road from vehicular movement until LASEMA officials arrived.
Fresh reports confirm that the swift response of LASEMA helped to avert disaster on two different busy Lagos roads
According to media reports, there were no casualties after the accident and LASEMA officials have reportedly recovered the crashed truck as well as cleared the road to ensure free-flowing traffic. As of the time of writing this report, the damaged truck and its container have been reportedly parked by LASEMA officials on a Layby around the Iyana Isolo corridor.
In another similar report, mechanical fault allegedly caused the head of a tanker to detach from its body while driving at high-speed around the Mile 2 part of Berger Suya in Lagos. The unregistered tanker is said to be transporting groundnut oil when the incident happened at night. Media sources claim that LASEMA responded quickly by recovering the detached tanker and towing it to a safe location through the help of another tanker vehicle head. Similarly, press reports confirm that no casualty was recorded during this incident as well and LASEMA has helped clear the scene to avert possible disaster.

Despite all of the efforts of the LASEMA response team, a recent fire incident caused by fuel tanker explosion on Oshodi-Apapa expressway wreaked havoc before it could be contained.
