On several occasions, Lai Mohammed has been accused by the local and international media of giving false information and contrary account of events that took place in the country. This played out during the #EndSARs protest where he gave a report that was different from the one given by the Lagos State Government and the Nigerian Army. The media outlet had asked Lai Mohammed to provide substantial proof that they peddled fake news as he claimed.
No doubt, the populace has caught Lai Mohammed in many webs of lies that they now blamed the signature cap he wears responsible for the lies.
