Wednesday 21st of April 2021 must have been a terrible day for a certain policeman in Lagos whose head was used to break a beer bottle by an angry motorist. The general public got to know about this shocking incident after a video that captured the whole drama went viral on social media. Fortunately, the video also reached the desk of Lagos state police command headquarters and they have recently responded by promising to find and arrest the erring motorist who is said to be currently on the run.

According to the Lagos state police spokesperson, the Commissioner of Police says he was highly surprised by the dastardly act of the motorist and some certain individuals seen in the video encouraging such violence. The police commissioner has so far ordered a thorough investigation to be made in order to find and arrest both the erring motorist and all his accomplices.

As of the time of writing this report, the police officer who was assaulted in the video has been identified as one Lagos traffic officer whose name is ASP Dauda Ajayi. The attacked officer is reportedly attached to the Abattoir Division of Lagos state police command which seems to be the location where the incident occurred. Efforts are currently being made to find the fleeing motorist so that he can be arrested and arraigned before a high court to answer for his deeds.
