According to a new report getting to us, six suspected car thieves were recently arrested by men of the Katsina State police command. SP Gambo Isah, who happens to be the spokesman of the command, made this known in a statement released on Wednesday 18th of May, 2022. According to him, two vehicles were recovered from the suspected car thieves.

SP Gambo Isah said the police patrol team attached to Malumfashi Division acted swiftly on the intelligence report of a possible robbery. Isah said the police operatives were able to apprehend two male adults identified as Aminu Musa and Kabiru Sa’idu from Ketare Village, Kankara LGA of Katsina State. The two suspects were found in the custody of a stolen Honda Civic car with registration number ABC 800 SL. During preliminary investigations, the suspects confessed to stealing the Honda car at the Kuje Area of Abuja.

One of the two vehicles recovered from car thieves in Katsina State
Meanwhile, the Katsina police command was able to apprehend another gang of car thieves. These particular set of thieves were accused of stealing a green-coloured Toyota Camry sedan with registration number KTN 918 DK. The stolen vehicle in question is said to be owned by one Iris Muhammed Garba of Kashe Naira Quarters, Mashi Local Government Area. The syndicate of car thieves were nabbed with the stolen car in Bauchi State. The names of the suspects have been identified as 30-yar-old Babangida Danjuma, 25-year-old Muhammadu Abdurahman, 40-year-old Abdullahi B. Muhamud and Ibrahim, presently on the run. These suspected car thieves also confessed to having committed the crime while the vehicle has been recovered.
