19 persons confirmed dead in Kano car crash

19 people have lost their lives in an accident caused by over speeding and bad road. Check details of the tragic car crash in Kano below!

19 persons have been confirmed dead following a fatal car crash which occurred at Dinyar Madiga, Takai LGA Kano state.

The Kano State Sector Commandant of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Zubairu Mato, while confirming the accident said that it happened around 6 pm, with four vehicles involved in the collision.

They include:

  • A Honda Civic car
  • A Sharon car
  • A Golf car
  • A Kano line commercial bus


19 persons lost their lives on the spot in the car crash

"A total of 19 people died ( 14 male adults, 3 female adults and 2 male children) and 7 were injured.
The corpses and injured were conveyed to Takai General hospital by FRSC rescue team from wudil unit Command."

The FRSC boss went further to say that the accident was due to over speeding and poor condition of the road.

In his own words, he said it's "dodging of potholes."

Naijauto gathered that the dead victims were confirmed dead in the hospital while those who sustained injuries were being treated.

This is an avoidable accident and it's quite unfortunate that it took 19 lives at a spot.
