Jeep introduces the “Sun & Safety” – a new limited-run variant of its luxury Compass SUV model
Ever since the Jeep Compass crossover model was introduced to the global auto market in 2006, the automaker has made a facelift of the model only back in 2017, and now it's in the second generation. Many customers might already be anticipating a refresh of the model with a newer range of powerful engines and also more standard equipment for each version. The automaker has however not looked in that direction for now, but instead, it has just announced a new variant called “Sun & Safety”.
Just as the name says; this new limited-run variant is packed with every single safety technology that is available in the Compass lineup, altogether with a beautiful sunroof. This new variant is also offered as both 4x4 models and front-wheel-drive models with the below respective prices;
- ₦11.3million ($28,815) – Front-wheel-drive model
- ₦11.9million ($30,315) – 4x4 model
These prices seem fair enough if one is to consider the monetary value of each feature packaged together and offered as a whole in this variant. Most notable ones include all-season tires with 17-inch aluminum wheels of ₦271,050 ($695) worth, the “Sun” feature which is a dual-pane panoramic standard sunroof of ₦622,050 ($1,595) worth. The new variant also packs more features like Remote Start and a beautiful steering wheel that is leather-wrapped.
