Did you know that Liberty Walk – a Japanese aftermarket body-kit maker made their 2019 Suzuki Jimny SUV look just like Mercedes Benz G-Class? See it here now!

If you have been following us here on Naijauto.com frequently, you would know that it is no longer strange to get news updates of Chinese or Japanese auto manufacturers mimicking some of the world’s popular car brands. We frequently see them making copycat versions of many popular expensive vehicles from other well-known world top manufacturers like Mercedes Benz.

One of such news updates has just surface again!

This time around it’s from a company known as “Liberty Walk” – A popular Japanese body-kit maker.

They are officially tuning their just unveiled 2019 Suzuki Jimny SUV, and trying to make it look exactly like the exotic Mercedes-Benz G-Class SUVs. Yet, another G-Class copycat, huh?

This Jimny SUV is priced at $20,990 (₦7.6million) making it one of the best and cheapest off-roader vehicles on the market right now.

This 2019 Suzuki Jimny off-roader is a 2-door SUV of the boxy 4th-generation vehicle line. It is being powered by a naturally-aspirated 1.5L petrol engine which enables it to deliver 100hp whereas the original 2019 Mercedes Benz G500 SUV engine gives a whopping 416hp and it is, of course, a 4.0L turbocharged V8 engine 😊.

Both of these SUVs have shared some similar features like tail lights, roof-mounted swing, spare wheel covers, and circular headlight.

So, the real question is; Will people actually rush to acquire this Suzuki Jimny SUV?

The Suzuki Jimny now takes on quite a new look on its appearance

We don't really trust that if this cheaper SUV hits the Nigerian automobile market, people wouldn't rush it especially considering the fact that it will look very similar to the original Mercedes Ben G-Wagon. Yes, if you truly know how much Nigerians love the Mercedes Ben G-Wagon, you would agree with us on this.

But, whatever the case may be, we just have to wait and watch what happens in the consumer market.
