Nigerians should be expecting a touch down soon as the Special edition Jaguar F-Pace SUV finally hits the African auto market. See the SUV here!

It is without a doubt that Nigeria will soon have the Special Edition Jaguar F-Pace SUV available for purchase, as it is now officially introduced to the African auto market. Jaguar says that this award-winning SUV will be coming as a beautiful feature-packed “Chequered Flag” special edition designed for sub-Saharan Africa specifically.

Jaguar F-Pace – The Design

On the outside, the automaker had said in a statement that the coming “Chequered Flag” SUV version offers an assertive type of exterior styling with a unique badge, as well as a nice choice of engines that takes inspiration from the automaker’s racing heritage. Also, it is stated that the styling will show striking, glossy black detailing on its roof rails, side vents, door cladding, front grille and as well a Sporty front bumper. The SUV’s 19-inch five split-spoke wheels will also come in pure gloss black detailing to match the overall aura.


Jaguar says Africa should get ready for the coming F-Pace special edition SUV

When it comes to the interior of the coming Jaguar F-Pace SUV, it was mentioned that a 10-way electric car seat should be expected as standard with other features like Meridian Sound System, Touch Pro Navigation and driver memory too.

The cabin is revealed to be packed with a blend of specially crafted finishes and luxurious materials together with unique “Chequered Flag” tread plates, meshed aluminum detailing, and perforated (leather) seat upholstery. In a recent statement about the interior of this coming SUV, Jaguar wrote;

“occupants (will) benefit from a range of standard features such as 10-way electric front seats with driver memory, Apple CarPlay, Touch Pro Navigation Pack, Meridian Sound System, reconfigurable 12.3-inch Interactive Driver Display and the Touch Pro infotainment system.”

Jaguar F-Pace – Engine, Power and Performance

For the automobile enthusiasts, this expected F-Pace SUV is said to be coming with a 2.0-liter All-Wheel-Drive powertrain, of which the base trim will have a 2.0-liter performance-focused 184kW Ingenium petrol engine.

This coming SUV is expected to have a top speed of 217kph and a Zero to 100kph acceleration time of just 7.0 seconds. Also, there will be a 2.0-liter diesel engine option that will have options of either a 177kW or 132kW all-wheel-drive powertrain. According to a press release, the 132kW version will have a 208kmph top speed and a 9 seconds acceleration time from 0-100kph while 177kW version will have the same top speed but a 7.2 seconds acceleration time from 0-217kph.
