Local vehicle manufacturing is gradually becoming a lucrative business in Nigeria as many players in the sector keep coming up with new innovations every day. A new press update claims that Nigeria’s leading indigenous automaker, Innoson Motors recently unveiled two new plants as well as an Automated (Robotic) Spraying booth in Anambra State. This is really good news because the new plants and spraying booth are going to be “catalysts” that will help locally-made vehicles meet up the accepted global standards.

According to media sources, one of the new car production plants unveiled by Innoson Motors will be specifically used for the manufacturing of its 10-seater and 7-seater Small/Minibus models. Similarly, the second plant will be used for the manufacturing of the company’s IVM Connect and IVM Caris sedan models. Quite impressive, isn’t it?

Just as you have probably seen in the above video, Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing company now own a functional Automated (Robotic) Car Spraying booth in Nnewi, Anambra State. As a matter of fact, the company revealed that the newly unveiled plants alone can produce as many as 32,000 vehicles annually and it will also provide employment for about 1,000 qualified Nigerians. Similarly, the company’s new Automated Spraying Booth is said to be the very first of such in Nigeria as a whole. This is truly a great milestone for Innoson Motors and the entire Nigerian automotive industry as a whole. We really hope to see more of these kinds of innovation and development from other investors in the indigenous car production space.
