Press reports from Anambra State claim that the CEO of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company, Chief Dr Innocent Chukwuma has received lots of encomiums from the people of Umuezena community in Nnewi after he revealed new plans to expand his car manufacturing company in the area.

These new reports show that Innoson Motor company must be dedicated to supporting the growth of Anambra state because a few weeks ago, the company donated ambulance and relief materials to support the fight against the novel COVID-19 virus in the state. Now, it's planning to expand its vehicle manufacturing company in Nnewi community.
According to reports, Innoson CEO recently visited Umuezena community in Nnewi and was happily received. A close ally to the CEO revealed that the purpose of the visit was to appreciate the community’s congruent decision to sell him a portion of land in the community for the expansion of his factory. The report stated that the close ally to the CEO says that the community has been generally showing great support for the company’s growth and Innoson factory hopes they reap future benefits from its expansion project.

Innoson motor company is yet to announce the actual date it will commence the proposed factory extension project, however. With this kind of support from the host community; one can expect the project to go smoothly. We hope that more indigenous auto manufacturing companies embark on expansion projects like Innoson is doing now because it will surely create more jobs and help the Nigerian auto industry grow faster.
