Just when you think you have seen it all, life springs up new surprises. And today, Naijauto brings you the inspiring story of an Indian barber who can acquire a Rolls Royce Ghost all by his effort.

Ramesh Babu is a Bangalore businessman, who is into the business of barbing and also rental of cars out to people.

His clients are reported to be movie and music celebrities, and also top politicians. According to a recent statement made by him, his start was a bit rough in 1989.

Babu said:

I remember the day my father passed away, leaving our family and his barbershop

Despite owning and running a barbing shop, his passion for car rentals resulted in the acquisition of a Maruti (Suzuki) Omni, made in India, 3 years later.

The outcome of this business yielded good fruits as he was already running an accomplished taxi business in the 1990s.

Over the years, Ramesh Babu built his mega empire from nothing due to dedication and absolute passion

He later went into rentals of luxury cars in 2004, with the likes of popular brands such as BMW and Mercedes. After this, he is currently able to proudly lay claim to two hundred vehicles, comprising exclusive and top luxury cars like the Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost, Mercedes C, E and S class, and also the BMW 5, 6 and 7.

As a result of this, he loves to go to his shop most times in his luxury Rolls-Royce Ghost, which he got as a result of his dedication and hardwork.

When he was asked about his first job and luxury cars, he responded:

“This is more of a passion”

He said as for being a barber, he would not relent or stop the profession as long as he is alive and healthy.
