This incredibly new release is a product of the 2017 foldable electric scooter concept, as part of the ‘Project IONIQ’, and is an initiative of the car manufacturer, which allows users to fold it using one hand and also getting it stored in the ioniq’s front door pocket.
Currently, a prototype is created from that concept, offering a 10.5 Ah lithium battery, rear-wheel drive, stylish front and rear lights. On a single charge, this scooter has the capacity to travel up to 12.4 miles (20 km) in range.

Through the integration of the scooter into the future of products of Hyundai and Kia, the plan is to actualize what the car manufacturer refers to as “first and last-mile mobility”.
With the help of shift to rear-wheel drive, the prototype will reportedly ensure stability and safety through the repositioning of weight close to the rear. The engineers had also added an additional suspension setup to the wheel in the front for more exciting and smoother ride for the users.
