The 2013 Hyundai Elantra is making rounds as a one-of-a-kind car. Owned by Farrah Haines, it’s very similar to other vehicles that were manufactured by Elantra 6 years ago. But it stands out from the lot as the most-traveled - having covered over one million miles.
One would think that traveling such long distance would make the vehicle wear out. But on the contrary, the Elantra still looks very clean and strong. It goes without saying, that the car is well maintained. In order to keep the vehicle in good shape, Farrah made some additions to the body, fixing a grille guard which serves as protection against the many hours of driving.

How Farrah's 2013 Hyundai Elantra covered 1 million miles
Haines was able to cover over a million miles in the course of her job as a delivery driver in about a decade. In calculating the total miles covered, she travels two hundred thousand miles each year. This is in no way overwhelming to Haines. She took up the delivery driving job in the first place because she loved driving. So, she gets the chance to do what she loves, and makes some money in the process.
As she hit the driving milestone, she was disappointed that there was no way she could prove her achievement. She knew that digital odometers didn’t have sufficient space to record that many digits. Fortunately for her, Hyundai came in, and created a customized badge in recognition of her efforts.
The automaker has granted a Million Mile badge to Farrah Haines
Referred to as “The Million Mile Emblem,” the badge was designed to award drivers like Haines who will make such achievements in subsequently. This is a welcome development in recognizing game changers.
