Just when you think you have seen it all on, we come out with newer gist that will always thrill you over and over again. That’s what we do!

Funny enough, we cannot deny not being totally surprised on getting this recent update as it just seems unbelievable at first.

1. How the house boy and car thieves conducted their conspiracy?

According to Vanguard’s recent report, one young man named Goodluck who was identified as an employed house-help or “house boy” for his boss is now on the run for a conspiracy crime.

According to Goodluck’s boss, Mrs Abiola Abegunde, both of the suspects carried out the theft on the 29th of April 2019, after she had left her residence in Igando to go fix her faulty mobile phone while leaving her mother with her 3-year-old daughter with Goodluck (the so-called house boy).

When narrating the story Mrs Abiola said;

“ I was within the vicinity, when I heard the sound of our gate opened. When I looked closely I saw the house boy Goodluck, opening the gate for my father’s highlander jeep to go out of the compound.

Suspecting the boys reversing the jeep, I started shouting thief! But to my greatest surprise, the houseboy was with them.”

2. "Karma activated" - how the thieves ended up behind jail

Luckily for the victim, on the 1st of May 2019, at just about 5:30 pm in the evening, Arifayan Tosin who was one of the suspects had taken this SUV to Ladipo Market with the intent of selling it off under the pretence that he was instructed by his father to do so.

But unfortunately for him, the buyer was more careful and had dialled the phone number written on the particulars of the vehicle, only to be immediately informed that it was a stolen vehicle. And without wasting time, the buyer contacted the Mushin Police Area Commander D, who instantly mobilized police officers and got to the scene on time to arrest the first suspect on sight.

With further investigation, the police have also been able to arrest the second suspect, Raymond Ado who happens to be a security guard that is attached to the Ajose street Mende in Maryland under Fundamental Guard.

The house boy then ran away after realizing that his accomplices had been caught.

This is pretty much a wake-up call to anyone trying to buy any used car in Nigeria from an individual. Try as much as possible to check all the necessary things and confirm all the vehicle’s particulars to avoid buying a stolen vehicle that could get you into trouble.
