From a new report getting to us, six persons sustained injuries recently after hot police pursuit in Glendora last Wednesday, according to the authorities. Two of the injured people are presently in critical condition.
The multiple car crash happened during the police pursuit of a stolen Acura Integra
Officer Rodrigo Jimenez, who happens to be the spokesperson for the California Highway Patrol’s Baldwin Park Office, while confirming this story, revealed that the unfortunate event happened around 5:45 pm, where the officers with the Azusa Police Department were chasing after an Acura Integra that was reportedly stolen.

The stolen car from what Jimenez said was moving towards south on Barranca Avenue in Unincorporated Glendora, where it hit a Toyota Camry after crossing the center median, in the intersection of Barranca Avenue and Arrow Highway.
The driver of the stolen car suffered serious injuries after being ejected from the car
A chain reaction was caused by this collision, where up to 3 vehicles were hit in the intersection. The spokesman also revealed that the driver of the stolen car was ejected in this crash, who at the time wasn’t wearing the seatbelt. As a result, the driver of this stolen Acura car with the other occupant in the car was inflicted with serious injuries and was rushed to the hospital for medical treatment.

Police chase ends in fiery crash in Glendora, several hurt
The Passenger of the Toyota Camry, which was among the vehicles involved in this multiple crash, only sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment. Jimenez disclosed that aside from these people, other people involved in this 5-car accident didn’t sustain any injuries.
According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, six people were inflicted with varying injuries in this crash. It was also stated by Jimenez that there is a possibility that the driver behind the wheel of the stolen car was driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
