Tragedy struck last weekend when a certain Honda car crushed an Okada rider and passenger to death on the Lagos-Ibadan highway. This heartbreaking incident reportedly occurred on Sunday, August 21 along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway. It was reported that a Honda Pilot SUV and a Bajaj Boxer motorcycle were involved in the fatal accident.

The Honda Pilot SUV involved in this road accident is said to be fitted with the plate registration number ABJ 178 CE. Also, the motorcycle (Okada) involved in the crash is a Bajaj Boxer model with the plate number AAA 213 QM. Press reports claim that the Okada rider died in the crash as well as the passenger riding along with him.

The Ogun state FRSC spokesperson has confirmed the recent accident involving a Honda car and motorbike on the Lagos-Ibadan road. Florence Okpe revealed that the fatal crash occurred at about 10:55 am on the morning of Sunday 21st of August 2022.
Three adult males were reportedly involved in the road accident. Two of the victims died while the third person luckily escaped unhurt. The Ogun FRSC spokesperson claimed that excessive speeding caused the ghastly accident. She disclosed that the driver of the Honda Pilot SUV lost control before hitting the Okada rider who was carrying a passenger. The bodies of the deceased accident victims have already been deposited at the Idera Mortuary in Sagamu, Ogun State.
Florence Okpe, the FRSC spokesperson enjoined the families of the deceased victims to contact the Sagamu office of the traffic agency. She also reiterated that motorists need to take caution against excessive speeding and all forms of speed violations.
