A Nigerian girl was recently rushed to a hospital in New Jersey after being badly injured by a hit-and-run driver on Mother’s Day.
She had fractures of the rib due to the accident, which eventually led to collapsed lungs. She is currently now in a critical condition.
The two year-old Eno Itoro was walking to church on her own, which is not far from her house, got hit and the driver raced off immediately without attending to her.
Both parents of Eno Itoro were not aware that she went to church alone
When the father of the victim, Itoro Jameson was asked about the unfortunate incident, he said:
Sad on Mother’s Day. It’s not meant to be this way,

He further responded when asked why they allowed their daughter out alone by herself:
[My wife] thought she was with me. I thought she was with her and I think she came out the door herself.
The police have identified Romane Errol SR. of Newark (age 26) as the driver behind the wheel, which hit the infant just before 9.am in the morning. His truck was discovered shortly nearby by the detectives and was taken into custody for further questioning.
According to the officials involved in this case, the driver was driving with an expired and suspended license. Consequently, he has been charged for inflicting serious body injury and driving a vehicle without a valid driver’s license.

We feel really bad about this and hope she gets well soon. As for the driver; if found guilty, should be made to pay for his crime.
