Yet again, the governor of Oyo state has shown himself to be an exceptional leader who believes in equipping all government agencies with the right tools to make them function effectively. Fresh reports and photos confirm that Governor Seyi Makinde recently donated 25 fully-equipped operational vehicles to different security agencies across Oyo state. During his presentation of the vehicles, Governor Makinde reportedly promised the security agencies of continuous support from his administration, especially when it comes to their welfare.

According to press reports, Governor Seyi Makinde officially handed over these vehicles to the security agencies at the front of the Presidential Lodge within the state government house premise in Agodi, Ibadan. The reports also stated that 10 of the donated vehicles were given to the SRS (Swift Response Squad) which is one of the key units of the NPF (Nigeria Police Force). Similarly, the remaining 15 vehicles were donated to “Operation Burst”, which is a special unit that comprises of personnel from the Civil Defense Corps, Nigerian Police and military.

Apart from presenting new operational vehicles to security agencies in Oyo state, Governor Seyi Makinde also promised to ensure adequate care for all personnel and their respective families. The governor reportedly stressed that despite the COVID-19 pandemic and #EndSARS protest causing a country-wide economy meltdown, he would still ensure that security personnel are cared for.

It is definitely remarkable that Governor Seyi Makinde is able to donate 25 vehicles to state security agencies at this moment because just a few days back he still did the same for the local Amotekun security outfit as well.
