Fresh reports and photos confirm that Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has gone around to inspect all the government offices and buildings that were allegedly attacked during the recent Lagos protests. Various reports from local media outlets claim that official cars and offices of the NPA, VIO, FRSC and others were burnt by “hoodlums” during the riots. Similarly, a large number of BRT buses were also reportedly burnt beyond repair during the extremely violent riot.

According to press reports, the Igbosere High court, which is one of the oldest Nigerian Judiciary buildings in Lagos, was also torched by arsonists during the recent riots. Photos featured on local media outlets shows parts of the building being painted “black” with soot while the courtrooms were all littered and scattered.
As of the time of writing this report, the governor of Lagos State has already activated the necessary processes that will be required to begin the reconstruction of these destroyed government offices. Nonetheless, it was confirmed that during the Governor’s visit to the attacked offices, he was left in deep shock upon seeing the level of damage being done by alleged “hoodlums” during the riot.
