1. Cristiano Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo Dos Santos Aveiro, also called CR7, was born on the 5th of February, 1985 in a village called Santo Antonio in Portugal. He is a professional Portuguese footballer who currently plays for Juventus FC. The exceptional goal-scorer also captains the Portuguese national team. Ronaldo has won himself several world-renowned titles and has several businesses, hence, we are not so surprised he's worth $450 million. Apart from his Audi R8 that we're about to show you, he also drives a Ferrari F12 worth ₦240 million and a Rolls-Royce Phantom worth ₦146 million, among other cars.

Lionel Andres Messi Cuccittini is an Argentine footballer. He is also a top striker who plays as a forward and captains the Spanish club, Barcelona FC and the Argentina National Team. A section of football fanatics are convinced that Lionel Messi is the best footballer alive; others disagree. Popularly referred to as the successor of Diego Maradona, he has won his club 33 club titles and scored more than 6000 goals. We are not really surprised he has also won the FIFA Ballon d'Or five times too. The football icon is worth $400 million and he's currently the highest-paid footballer in the world.

Currently, Neymar is 28-years-old, he plays as a forward for the French club, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), and the Brazil National Team.

5. Wayne Rooney

Before this move back to his hometown, he played for DC United in Major League Soccer as a forward. The professional footballer is from Wales, plays as a Winger for Real Madrid as well as the Wales National Team. For a footballer to have 31 international goals and over seventy caps attached to his name, he has to be amazingly talented. 7Eden Hazard

Although not the highest paid, Hazard is considered one of the best players in the world. He captains the Belgium National Team and plays as a winger or attacking midfielder for the La Liga club, Real Madrid. The 26-year-old professional dribbler has earned over a hundred caps for himself. He was one of the super footballers that played for the Belgium team, which reached the quarterfinals of the 2016 UEFA Euro and the 2018 FIFA World Cup. Hazard's parents were footballers, so he's obviously a natural.
