Sources claim that the name of the young girl is Kehinde Esther Popoola and she is currently a student of Babs Fafunwa Millennium Senior Sec. School in Ojodu, Lagos. She is a teenager who is very passionate about automobiles and machines in general.
Her passion had driven her to be working happily as a Forklift mechanic in a Lagos workshop where a positive-minded man spotted her recently and interviewed her on camera. The good man reportedly pleaded with his daughter to have the video posted on social media so that the Forklift mechanic girl could get proper attention because very rarely does one see a lady of her age in Nigeria having such passion for engineering.

After the above video went viral, many Nigerians have been praising the young lady for such great passion to pursue a career in a male-dominated field.
Luckily, all the praises and attention the video has gotten so far made it reach the desk of Nigeria’s minister for Youth & Sports development who has now promised that the young girl will be given the scholarship to study Civil Engineering in any University or College of her choice.
She is currently in SS 2 though – which means that in 2 years from now she should set foot on the path to becoming a certified engineer.
