The FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation) has recently released an official statement in which it thanked the Dubai Police for arresting and handing over alleged internet fraudster, Ray Hushpuppi and his gang members to the United States' police.
This FBI public statement does not only confirm that Ray Hushpuppi and Mr Woodberry has been truly arrested but also affirms that they are now in the FBI custody.

Three weeks after we published a report about Circle closing for Ray Hushpuppi and Mr Woodberry following FBI arrest, new official press reports have now confirmed that the two are currently in the FBI custody for alleged internet fraud charges.
Mr Woodberry and Ray Hushpuppi whose real names are Olalekan Jacob Ponle and Raymond Abbas respectively were arrested by the Dubai police in an operation tagged “Fox Hunt 2”. This special operation targeted individuals and groups that are allegedly involved identity theft, banking frauds, online scams, criminal impersonating, illegal hacking, cyber frauds, and money laundering. Quite a long list of crimes, isn’t it?

According to official Dubai police reports, Ray Hushpuppi and Mr Woodberry’s gang were planning a massive heist worth ₦168.8 billion ($435million) as at the time of their arrest. Also, the report stated that the Dubai police confiscated 13 different expensive luxury cars worth ₦2.7 billion ($6.8million) as well as ₦15.9 billion ($40.9million) in cash, 47 mobile phones, 21 computers, and many other items.
