According to the new reports reaching us, popular ex-BBNaija housemate - Rico Swavey is in critical condition after a serious car accident he was involved in. The ex-housemate of the Big Brother Naija reality TV show seems to be badly affected by the horrific crash. Judging by press reports, the reality tv star is now one of the few Nigerian celebrities that have been involved in near-death road crashes this year.

The news of Rico Swavey's accident and present condition was shared on Twitter by Alex Unusual, who was also a former BBNaija housemate. She tweeted
“Good morning sweethearts. Please put @iamricoswavey in your prayers today. He was involved in a ghastly accident hours ago and the doctors are still trying to resuscitate him as I just left the hospital. It’s really critical. I’m staying positive. #PrayForRicoSwavey.
Since she shared the disturbing news on social media, fans of the show and other internet users have been praying for Swavey's speedy recovery.

Who is Rico Swavey?
Patrick Fakoya, popularly known as Rico Swavey is a Nigerian lawyer, artiste, reality TV star, actor and social media influencer. He rose to fame after he featured in the third season of the BBNaija Show "Double Wahala" back in 2018. He was 26 years old at the time when he was among the housemates competing for a ₦45 million grand prize. Rico Swavey was born in 1993 to the family of Mr and Mrs Fakoya. He obtained a degree in law from Babcock University. He has been featured in a couple of projects, one of them being the popular TV series 'Tinsel'. He is also known for his role in the “Life 101” drama series. His song “Afrosantana” was also released after his stay in the Big Brother Naija house.
