The rumours that have been trending for a while now about Mallam Nasir El-Rufai's involvement in a ghastly accident abroad has finally been put to rest. Check it out!

Naijauto is aware of the rumours that have been making rounds for some time now about the Kaduna state governor - Mallam Nasir El-Rufai’s involvement in an accident.

Well, it is a fact now that the rumours are indeed nothing but rumours, as the re-elected governor of Kaduna state was seen arriving safe and sound at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja from his trip abroad. He has put an end to a trending rumour with a sense of finality to it with his arrival back in the country.

Mallam Nasir El-Rufai landing at the Abuja International Airport - He is definitely hail and hearty!

It was without hesitation that the governor’s spokesperson – Samuel Aruwan took to Facebook to announce the arrival of his principal back to Nigeria. He posted:

“Ever smiling and cheerful Governor Nasir El-Rufai at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja. Next story!”

You will remember that the governor, who secured re-election in the 2019 gubernatorial election for his state Kaduna state, took to Facebook to decry the rumour of his involvement in a fatal accident that was making rounds.

His Facebook page read:

”I woke up after a rare 8-hour bout of deep sleep to learn that some bigotry-driven, PDP-affiliated fake news platform has declared my driver dead and my humble self in coma. Both claims are false”

Mallam El-Rufai making a call - "I just landed now, I'm on my way home" I guess!

”I thank them for reducing the days in their lives and adding them to mine. I remain their permanent nightmare and not about to disappear from their wretched and corrupt lives any time soon by the Grace of Almighty Allah until they are permanently retired and buried. – Nasir @elrufai”

Such a sharp response to the fake news around his well-being. One score for our re-elected governor!
