EFCC recovers exotic cars from 14 suspected yahoo boys

Abuja Zonal Office of the EFCC has recovered expensive cars from 14 suspected internet fraudsters, after raiding a hotel in the outskirts of Abuja.

From the latest reports reaching us, arrests have been made of fourteen suspected internet fraudsters by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) of the Abuja Zonal Office. These arrests came in the light of intelligence reports received by the anti-graft agency; Kingsley Anchor and thirteen other suspected yahoo boys were alleged to have involved in cyber-crime and other related activities.

From what we could see, several expensive cars including the likes of Toyota Camry and Mercedes Benz models were recovered from the suspected 14 internet fraudsters during the raid.

The raid was reportedly carried out around 9pm by operatives of Advance Fee Fraud Section of the agency at the Jimmy land Hotels on the 7th of March, 2020. The EFCC followed solid intelligence reports that proved credible when the operatives were able to track them down to the address of the hotel, which is located on the outskirts of the FCT area.

The suspected internet fraudsters were rounded up by the EFCC officials at the heart of a lavish birthday party which was held in honor of the Anchors deals in romance scam, along Abacha Road in the Marabar Area of Abuja.

The Economic and Financial Crime Commission, at its different zonal offices nationwide over the years, has made a lot of arrests of young people involving in series of internet fraud and other cyber-related crimes, while confiscating their items, including cars acquired with the fraudulent money.
